Giovanna and Angelina's Weekend in Positano

This painting depicts the coastal floral colour's that are drawn into your soul once your feet hit the coastline of Positano Italy. A table setting is never seen without the bright beautiful colour of yellow in the lemons. The vivid pink/purple petals of the bougainvillea stands out from the magnificent coastal backdrop of the Amalfi Coast and this colour sets the backdrop of my Italian inspired painting. The abundant flower's vibrant colour's make it a spectacular sight during springtime. Meaningful trips to Italy always involve beautiful food this painting expresses the brightest joy experienced by every trip. It is a nod to my European Heritage and both of my grandmothers.
